MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA - MAY 16: The Minnesota Timberwolves avoided elimination from the NBA playoffs in spectacular fashion on Thursday, blowing out the defending Western Conference champion Denver Nuggets 115-70.
Anthony Edwards led the charge for the Timberwolves, scoring 27 points and pulling them out of their mid-series slump. Minnesota played flawlessly, dominating every aspect of the game.
The victory forces a Game 7 on Sunday at Ball Arena in Denver. The start time will depend on the result of the Knicks vs. Pacers game. If Indiana forces a Game 7 in their series, the Timberwolves and Nuggets will tip off at 7 pm. Otherwise, Game 7 will start at 2:30 pm.
