The German club topped Group H as the only side with a 100% record and will be looking to capitalize on their advantage at home in the second leg.
Roma, on the other hand, will need a strong performance in Leverkusen if they are to overturn the deficit and reach their second Europa League final in as many years. The Italian club reached last year's final, knocking out Leverkusen on their way before losing on penalties to Sevilla in Budapest.
